On Saturday, November 19, 2016, the Central Intermediate M.U.T.T.S. Club partnered with the Tulsa Humane Society to help get pets adopted in time for the holidays.  The two group made a video to promote the event and the video was shared on the Good Morning America’s Facebook page promoting pet adoption as part of GMA’s Mission Pawsible theme for the month of November.  Over 42,000 people have watched the video from all over the world and over 100,000 people reached. The video can be viewed on Facebook on the Bixby Central Intermediate page.

The Humane society had sixteen adoptions this weekend.  The M.U.T.T.S. Club spent the time giving all the dogs attention by walking, playing and just giving them lots of love.  They visited with customers about the dogs and helped them pick out a furry friend.  Club sponsor, Mrs. Fletcher, and her daughter Ragan, a Mutt-i-grees National Ambassador, were proud of the students for their charity and compassion on a chilly fall morning.
