NEEI Staff Spotlight
March 7, 2018
My name is Kim Moore and this is my first year teaching in Bixby. I come to this wonderful district with 11 years of teaching experience in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I graduated from NSU with an Elementary Education degree and OSU with a Masters in Gifted and Talented Education. I have been married to my amazing husband, Aaron, for 7 years and we have two beautiful daughters. London is in Kindergarten at NEE and Quinn is 3. I love teaching 5th grade at Northeast and my team is simply the best!
I come to Northeast with over 14 years experience working as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist but this is my first year with the NEEI team. I come from Broken Arrow where I previously served both elementary and middle school populations. I have a Masters of Education from Northeastern State University and I am board certified in Speech-Language Pathology by the state of Oklahoma. I am also nationally certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
I am very excited to be apart of the Northeast team and look forward to many great years as a Spartan! I have a wonderful family that encompasses most of my time outside of the school setting. My husband is a fire fighter for the city of Broken Arrow. I have a middle school son in the 6th grade and a daughter who also attends NEEI. My youngest son is 3 and keeps us very busy! In my free time I enjoy sailing, attending church, traveling, cheering on the OKC Thunder, and going on outings with my family!
