After a lot of hard work, perseverance, brainstorming, and implementation, Central Intermediate attained one of this year’s staff goals of making Great Expectations Model School.  Staff and students arrived at school on March 2nd to see a yard sign from Bixby Yard Signs congratulating everyone on making Model School.  Staff members were treated to a festive lunch from Tijuana’s of enchiladas, chips and salsa, rice and beans for all of the hard work that was put into making the status of Model School.  Administration will work with our GE Coach, Rick Pierce to determine when the schoolwide celebration will take place in May.  Next fall, the school will also be recognized at the GE Fall Conference in Edmond on the campus of UCO.  We are proud of our staff and students for everything they’ve done to accomplish this milestone and help Bixby Public Schools get one step closer to the goal of a Great Expectations Model District.
