Mrs. Francis and her fifth grade engineers just finished their pasta cars!  The cars could have mints for wheels but the rest of the structure of the car had to be made from pasta and hot glue.  When done, students measured for distance traveled from the ramp to the closest wheel to the ramp and an average of three trips was calculated.  One students achieved 20 inches.  Two other’s car traveled an average of 29 inches.  Another student’s car averaged 35 inches. The car that went the farthest had an average of 44 inches. We are so proud of these students and their hard work!!
