Bixby Middle School Cheer competed in their first national competition in January.  The team competed in the always heavily-populated Large Novice Jr. High division at NCA Nationals in Dallas.  On day one they finished 1st in the performance division.  On day two they also finished first, but due to a stunting technicality they ended up in 3rd place.

Over the weekend they also finished 8th place in Gametime Cheer, 3rd place in Gametime Dance, and 1st place in Fight Song.  These are all big accomplishments for the middle school team.  Coach Cabbiness and Assistant Coach Merrill Newell are very proud of the team’s accomplishments and the way this team represented Bixby on a national stage.
