Mrs. Thomas’s Physical Science class took advantage of the fall weather to learn about physical and chemical reactions.  The students formed two volcanos, one using baking soda and vinegar and the other using Diet Coke and Mentos.  Students used their observation abilities to form a hypothesis and then created reactions.  After the experiment the class as a whole discussed the scientific explanations  for the reactions.  Everyone enjoyed the outside classroom experience and the chance for some hands-on learning!
