At the inaugural Sparta Gala held on January 28, 2017, the owners of Bixby Flower Basket purchased the Live Auction “Gourmet Dinner Package”.  Last Saturday night, they put their mouth where their money was when their live auction package came to life right in the comfort of their own home.  As the lovely couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with six guests, the amazing Chef Valarie Carter prepared a delicious 6-course dinner (menu and pictures below).  In addition, wine professional Megan Briseño-Morgan provided perfectly paired wine with each course.  Shelly Musser and Michelle Minton helped by serving and cleaning, while also sampling the divine dishes!  It was definitely a night to remember and a Great Day To Be a Spartan!  Let’s continue to Bridge the Gap, Bixby.  Stay tuned for information on the 2018 Sparta Gala.
