After a year long study of the Regions of the United States, the 4th grade classes ended the unit with a Regions Feast.
Organized by Mrs. Katie Younger, the 4th grade teachers and parents helped with this exciting event. The 4th grade students visited one region at a time, sampling popular foods from that area. There were many familiar items such as pizza and potatoes, but there were a few items that may have been new to some, such as clam chowder and shrimp. It seemed that the New York Cheesecake was a real favorite! What a yummy way to wrap up a unit of study!
